Internship: Graduate PHP Developer

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and talented graduate web developer to join our team.

Our studios are located in beautiful countryside between Canterbury, Ashford and Folkestone, and while we might be out in the sticks, we have high profile clients in Brussels, London and around the UK.

You'll be working closely with our lead developer on a number of web-based projects including implementing our own CMS, CRM and E Commerce, Delegate Registration and Case Management packages as well as bespoke development. In addition you'll be overseeing search engine optimisation campaigns and bulk email systems.

Skills and Attributes
We have built our reputation on being helpful to clients and you will be working directly with them so you'll need to be naturally polite with good communication and presentation skills. You'll have a good standard of English. You'll be eager to solve problems, able to project manage, capable of working your way logically through complex processes and have a keen interest in all things digital.

We would like you to be looking to develop your skills in PHP5, MySQL, DHTML, Javascript XHTML and CSS. We use Object oriented Programming and integrate with third party secure payment gateways. It would be an advantage if you have a solid knowledge of scripting such as JQUERY and Actionscript2. We have Linux servers and you should be comfortable working in Mac OS X.

Oh and you'll need to have a car and be able to drive because otherwise you won't be able to get here.

Salary: £12,000 per annum for an initial 6 month contract. In the first instance we will invite the most suitable applicants to attend a two week work placement, following which we will offer a 6 month internship or even a permanent contract.
